Kanay, Roxana Barba’s latest multimedia work is a performance “Apuntes Americanos-Kanay” are rooted in ancient history—  3,000 years before Christ history, on pre-Incan civilizations, cultures that had a deep study of cosmology and relationships with the natural world.

“My role as the Lighting Designer was to evoke the textures of sand and abstract contrasts through dynamic movement-based lighting. Working closely with the video team, I integrated multiple projection and media elements with the lighting design to create a cohesive visual environment. This fusion of light and video resulted in a seamless, immersive aesthetic that elevated the overall performance.
